Lindsey Graham #2

This week senator Graham talked about how president Obama needs to explain himself regarding his Syria and Middle East policy.  Senator Graham goes on to state how he feels that it is not unreasonable for the people and Congress to expect this from him, and that it is their right to know what is going on.

I completely agree with senator Graham, it is our right to know what is going on right now in our country. It is unjust how President Obama is making these decisions regarding the Middle East and Syria by himself, without even consulting with congress. And he should explain what he is doing to Congress, and the people so that we can know what decisions our country is making, whether they be good or not.

Lindsey Graham #1

Lindsey Graham on 06/25/13 stated that he would like to build the KeystoneXL pipeline.  He believes that the building of this major oil pipeline from Canada into the US would be beneficial to our country in that it would create American jobs, and lessen our dependence on foreign countries that "Hate our guts."

I believe that building the KeystoneXL pipeline would greatly benefit the US economy.  It would do so by adding jobs within the US, strengthening our relationship with one of our closest ally Canada, and also by increasing the revenue from taxes due to this decrease in unemployment from the new jobs created.  In the end the building of the KeystoneXL pipeline as preposed by senator Graham would greatly benefit our country, and would be a great step in pulling us out of the recession that we currently live in.
